As we organize weddings in Italy, I must tell you the story of this wonderful middle-aged couple who wanted to celebrate their second marriage at the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence. This charming couple asked me to organize a brief religious ceremony to conclude this special event in a truly romantic way.

I was once contacted by an organizer of an opera society who was aware that I had the privilege of personally knowing Luciano Pavarotti. The director of the opera society wanted to satisfy the curiosity of his clients by bringing his members to visit the Pavarotti’s estate in Modena, where, at that time, the late maestro lived with his family.

Even though I am not quite ready to write my memoirs, I would like to share with all of you some of my more memorable experiences which I have enjoyed during my forty year journey in the travel industry. Needless to say, I ended up in this fascinating industry not by design rather by destiny.
